Yoga Nidra, often translated as “yogic sleep,” is a long-form guided meditation practice that invites the body into deep rest while the mind remains gently aware. Unlike ordinary sleep, Yoga Nidra guides you through intentional stages of relaxation that systematically release physical tension, emotional holding, and mental overactivity.
Yoga Nidra is known to support: Nervous system regulation, improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, subconscious emotional processing, deep restoration without effort.
During this Late Summer workshop, Sasha will be leading the Nidra practice around the theme of releasing + letting go. Kevin will provide an intentional sound journey to accompany the practice. Vibrational tones from brass bowls and other sound instruments gently support brainwave shifts into alpha and theta states — the same states accessed in deep meditation and early sleep — enhancing the restorative effects of Yoga Nidra. The soundscape is designed specifically for the body, mind, and spirit to become balanced and restored.
This is not a movement class. It is a practice of intentional rest. Come as you are. Leave grounded, spacious, and renewed.
