Pratyahara: Full Moon Meditation

  • So Hum Yoga Studio 3368 Beltline Court Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49525 United States (map)

There's a moment in every practice where the eyes soften, the outside world quiets, and something truer comes forward. That's pratyahara — the yogic practice of withdrawing the senses inward — and it's the heart of this workshop.

On September 26th, we gather under the Harvest Moon — the full moon that falls closest to the equinox, when day and night hold equal weight in the sky. It's a fitting backdrop for two hours devoted to finding that same balance within: body meeting mind, senses letting go, stillness making room for what's underneath.

You'll be offered a soft gauze eye covering throughout the practice — light enough to breathe through, gentle enough to lift if you need to. Nothing is required here. Everything is invited.

This workshop blends guided meditation, slow embodied movement, and extended stillness. No experience necessary — just a willingness to close your eyes and come home to yourself.

Saturday, September 26 | 6:00- 7:30PM | $45

Space is limited. Reserve your spot below.
